Our application process is online and entirely paperless making the process smooth and efficient for you. From our website, click Apply in the top menu bar or click Floor Plans, choose a floor plan, then unit, then click Apply Online.

Any occupant over the age of 18 is required to complete an application and sign the lease as a responsible lease holder.

What if I’m not ready to apply? What other options are there? Expand FAQ Close FAQ

If you’re not ready to apply, click Email Us to send us your questions, or stop by to visit our community. Our pricing does change daily so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible to lock in the current rate.

We offer lease terms from 7 to 12 months, with different pricing options for each term.

How long do I have to move-in to my apartment? Expand FAQ Close FAQ

You may apply to move-in starting the date the unit is available. The unit can be moved in to within seven (7) days afterwards.

Does it cost anything to take a tour? Expand FAQ Close FAQ

Absolutely not! There is no charge to view our apartments and community amenities.

Do I have to make an appointment, or do you accept walk-ins? Expand FAQ Close FAQ

We offer self-guided tours, and you do not need an appointment.

Can I get a price reduction if I sign a longer lease or pay for rent a year in advance? Expand FAQ Close FAQ

We offer a variety of lease terms, and the prices vary based on the length of the lease. We do not offer a discount for paying a year in advance.

What is the renters’ insurance policy? Expand FAQ Close FAQ

We require renter’s insurance with a liability protection minimum of $100,000 for the protection of our community.  We also recommend you obtain personal renter’s insurance for the protection of your belongings.  We do offer Resident Indemnity Management indemnification coverage for the dwelling. Click here for more information.

Because Florida has two options, please review your specific lease for details on the termination policy.

How do I pay my rent online? Expand FAQ Close FAQ

As part of the Cottonwood Bayview community, you will have access to pay online through your Resident Portal. Once logged in, click Make a Payment, enter your payment amount and details then submit the payment.

How do I transfer to a new apartment? Expand FAQ Close FAQ

To transfer to a new apartment, please contact the office to discuss transfer options as well as additional options if you are relocating out of the area. The transfer fee is $500.

What schools is Cottonwood Bayview zoned for? Expand FAQ Close FAQ

Cottonwood Bayview is zoned for North Shore Elementary, John Hopkins Middle and St. Petersburg High School.

The Apartments

Yes, we do have a limited quantity of furnished apartments. Contact the leasing office for availability. If a furnished apartment is not available, our leasing team can provide you with information for local furniture rental companies in our area.

Do all of your apartments have the same finishes? Expand FAQ Close FAQ

Yes. All of our apartments include espresso cabinetry with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances.

Do all of your apartments include washer and dryer? Expand FAQ Close FAQ

Yes. All apartments include a full-size washer and dryer.

What is included in the rent price? Expand FAQ Close FAQ

The price shown on our website only includes your rent. All residents pay for electric which is setup by you and placed in your name through Duke Energy. Trash is $30 monthly and water/sewer is metered per apartment. Trash, water and sewer are billed by our third party billing company and paid with rent on the 1st of the month.

Once you apply and receive approval, you will contact Duke Energy at (727) 443-2641 or online by clicking here. Contact information is also provided on your reservation agreement and welcome letter. You will provide Duke Energy your lease start date and full mailing address including apartment number to start your service.

We use a third-party, independent screening service that assesses your credit, rental history, and employment history. They also complete a background check.

Our Policies

What is your pet policy? Expand FAQ Close FAQ

We welcome up to two furry friends! Our pet fee is $250 per pet and $25 monthly pet rent per pet and no weight limits. Pets must be on a leash when outside on the property and are restricted from common areas, pool and amenity areas. No exotic pets. Restricted breeds: Any Malamute breeds, any Mastiff breeds, any Bull Terrier breeds, Akita, Husky, Bully Kutta, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd Dog, Rottweiler, Pit Bull, wolf hybrids, hybrids mixed with any of the restricted breeds or any other breed with dominant traits geared towards aggression. Management reserves the right to restrict any breed according to their judgment. Each animal must have an application completed at PetScreening.com, inquire for more details.

What is the parking policy at Cottonwood Bayview? Expand FAQ Close FAQ

Parking is first come first serve in the parking garage for one vehicle per lease holder. Additional vehicles per lease holder or reserved parking is $100 monthly. Residents are required to have decals on their vehicles to park within the gated parking garage. Visitors can park on the 1st floor before the gate or on the 8th floor in the marked visitor parking spaces without a decal. Parking is free for each leaseholder.

No, we do not allow sublets.

No, we do not have individual garages; however, we do have a parking garage.

Do you have storage units available? Expand FAQ Close FAQ

Yes, there are interior storage units on each floor and in the parking garages that range from $75-$175 monthly. We offer bike storage for $35 monthly.

With our "Shipping Made Easy" process, you can ship packages by dropping them off in our leasing office.  We'll hand them to the courier for you! Click here to learn more.

Residents have access 24/7 to our game room/club house, business center, fitness center, yoga studio and conference room. The pool is open from dawn until dusk. The pool deck and city scape terraces are open until 10 pm.

How accessible is the team at the local office? Expand FAQ Close FAQ

Our staff is available during office hours to assist you seven days a week! You can also email us anytime, and we’ll respond during office hours. All of our communities offer 24-hour emergency maintenance as well–simply call us and a member of our service team will come out for emergency maintenance requests.
